    This magnet is strong, I was trying it on a bi-metal gun that I did not know that was bi-metal and the magnet had a weak hold on it, but when I placed it on a real steel gun, ohhhhhhhh boy, I had a little bit of a hard time pulling the magnet back off, now giving the dimensions of this magnet your gun will spin easily, but Its no problem to me

    Purchased these to mount the 9mm out of sight from others, but make sure it’s easy to access if need be. Definitely keeps it within reach! Overall I am pleased with the quality of the product and would consider purchasing again for the right application. Installing the mount with the screws provided was a breeze. Initially I thought these mounts would work well, until I completed the install, maybe its the larger capacity clip I’m using that’s adding weight….with a full clip seems like it’s just not quite strong enough or may need a larger area to connect with to keep it in place better? I believe it will stay put, but movement would cause scratches to my piece and may alert someone that it’s there.

    Super easy to install and small enough to easily hid. However, the magnet is not very strong once you place a gun on it. It barely holds my pk380 sturdy enough for me to be comfortable driving with it and not worrying about it falling, and it does NOT hold my Phoenix arms 22 pistol well at all. It falls off with the slightest bump. I tried it at different points on the gun and still doesn’t work efficiently. If you have a very light gun then it serves the purpose, otherwise find something stronger.

    Very fast shipping and great product! I’m very impressed at how well these magnets work even without using screws or 3M. I would still recommend using mounting hardware, but these hold up full metal pistols (very heavy duty pistols) in my save using no hardware at all. Again, super impressive.

    I bought this for my husband as a gift and he really likes these they are very strong magnets unlike the last one he ordered would not hold the gun tight. He put one in the coat closet under the shelf by the door and the other he said he had a small problem finding a good area to secure it in the truck. Although he finally found a good place under the dash for the magnet and it holds the gun out of view and in place. He says he’s going to Christmas gift his brother some of these, he is pleased with the gift.

    Strong magnet for just about any automatic fire arm. Holds my 9mm S&W firearm w/o issue, practically grabs it out of your hand. Magnet is small and low profile but powerful. Easy to remove the firearm when needed. The adhesive is there to hold the magnet in place for putting the screws in. The adhesive is not intended to be there for mounting – the screws are needed otherwise I would imagine the magnet would stay with the firearm and not on the mounting surface. Excellent for mounting under a desk or end table or on the side of some furniture. Highly recommend!

    Magnet wasn’t super strong. Holds my gun but only at a certain angle where I installed it. I use to have a stronger one in my last car that was a bar instead of a small circle. Definitely liked that better.

    Used hardware provided and attached to the side of a dresser and the magnets worked well .. tried a full size handgun and a small 380 type…. magnets hold the weapon nicely. Item works as described and is a good price.

    I love this product. It holds my glock 19 with extras just fine. I quickly mounted one in my wife’s car and the other in mine. I’m ordering 3 more pairs after this review. I would like to see an improvement on the sticky back, but the screws work fine for now.

    So please beware the adhesives are only to hold in place the magnets while you screw them into desired hold space. The easy to read instructions help aid in how to put together both magnets and a set of screws. The magnets themselves are very powerful, so watch your fingers! Holds a Rugar 40mm and a shotgun.

    Overall a good product. I have them in my RV in a false wall and it worked great on the move. Nothing fell and I have an older RV.

    You have to put the firearm up in the vertical position otherwise they will move.

    I would like to start by saying I do like the product. The magnets are very strong and the rubber should keep my guns from turning while it’s attached.
    My complaint is that I wanted to put these in my gun safe which is all steel inside. It says these are great for safes, however inside the box was a product direction pamphlet that says DO NOT USE ONLY THE ADHESIVE to mount… you MUST also use the screws. It did not say that in the add on Amazon. This really won’t work in an all steel safe.
    As I said in the beginning, I do like the product but not what I bought them for.
    If you can screw them to something they will work great.

    Strong, slim magnet that works great, has 2 mounting tabs so it doesn’t rotate with something mounted and you aren’t put a screw through and then torqueing on the center of the actual magnet, and it was like $15 for 2 of them. Got mine setup one holding a Glock 45 (fully loaded) and another holding 2 full mags and I have no worry of either of them falling or anything even if lightly bumped. I’m definitely going to order more, I’d imagine I’ll need 2 to hold my shotgun (because that thing is a fat pig of a gun) but also I’m going to buy more for non gun stuff, will be super useful in the garage and for other projects around the house/car/shed/etc.

    I can’t get them to stick to anything. I cleaned all the surfaces well but they still don’t stick well. I don’t want to use the screws that it came with because I’m using them in my truck and I don’t want screw holes in the dash.

    It holds a Glock 17, 48 and a Sig 1911. I couldn’t be happier. Rubberized coating doesn’t scratch the gun finish. Screws that come with it are pretty crappy, but for the price I’m definitely not complaining. The money is in the magnets and they’re strong enough to hold fully loaded weapons. Thank you.

    This magnet is super powerful – it could hold a 12 gauge. It has a small footprint and is easy to install. Two different lengths of screws so fits every application. I installed one under my desktop so I used the shorter screws – worked great. The adhesive on bottom holds it in place until you put the screws in. Don’t let it get near any metal except your firearm – it is hard to get loose! LOL

    Each magnet can easily hold a full-size pistol or flashlight. Mounted mine on the back of a piece of wood using short screws and it holds well. I cannot speak toward the adhesion strips as my surface was not suitable for them.
