    The intended use is to hold a smallish pistol securely inside a truck console vault. Due to space requirements, the double-side tape is used to position the magnet, which holds the pistol handle up against one side of the vault. I’ll let the tape set up, but initially, the magnet comes out with the pistol. Otherwise, the magnet and case are sturdy, clean, non-marring, well made. The magnets are plenty strong enough for this application, borderline too strong. The magnet cases are just tall enough to clear the slide release, but it’s close.

    These little magnets were exactly what I was looking to store a couple pistols in a wall cabinet. I used self tapper screws due to going through metal but included hardware will hold just fine. They have a tough time with a full size loaded pistol, the gun turns till it hits the side, but no slipping from the magnet.

    These things are super cool. They have a TON of sticking power & were super easy to install. The rubber coating makes sure that it won’t scratch anything I choose to stick to it. We used them as refrigerator magnets for a few days before installing them in their final location & boy do they hold up a LOT of sheets of pre-K artwork. The laugh I got from their after delivery follow up email alone makes this worth ordering. These guys have a fantastic sense of humor & I can’t imagine having any troubles with their customer service.

    These are pretty nice gun magnets. I ordered these to see about mounting a shotgun under a shelf. I was surprised how well these were able to hold the gun. They attach to any surface pretty easily and the holding power is actually quite impressive. I like how the come in a set so you can mount a shotgun or other rifles. I like how these have rubber mounts which is nice so it won’t scratch up your guns. Just one of these magnets held my 9mm with no issues. You won’t be disappointed. Great value for the price.

    I wanted to wait some time for this review, to see how it held up, and in the past months, its still like new. where it have it mounted in my vehicle would probably break before this magnet let go. Buying a few more for my other vehicles!

    We needed a way to inexpensively keep a sidearm close by in the bedroom and in my office. These magnets work great. Do NOT use them to store loaded weapons where prying hands or curious souls can get hold of them! The magnets have ideal strength to securely hold a full-size pistol with 17 x 9mm rounds in it but the magnets would NOT stop a child or other mischievous entity from pulling a pistol off of the magnets or squeezing the trigger. Proper gun safety matters, folks, and it matters a LOT so although these magnets work great for tucking a weapon of choice up and under something or onto the side of something for quick, easy access… do not think that just because you hid your weapon out of plain sight that someone would not find it… especially kids playing hide and seek in the house, someone cleaning your house (if you can afford that sort of luxury!) and/or a nosey person snooping around your stuff because, well, they’re too darn nosey for their own good!

    Would we buy these magnets, again? In a word, YES. They have the strength to securely hold pistols in places where we want to keep them if we ever have the need to do so. Also, the rubberized coating on these magnets seems thick enough that we do not expect that any scratching of our weapons will occur from contact with the magnets.

    Magnets are so strong they’ll pinch your fingers between the magnet and whatever is metal (pistols) if you’re not careful. Also when trying to screw in the screws during mounting, the magnet made it a little tricky as it kept pulling the screw away from the screw driver. Well worth the extra effort to mount because it holds my Glocks securely. Mounted one under my computer desk (Glock 43X), the other (Glock 23) on the inside door of a nightstand.

    The hold on this magnet is great. Very powerful. The adhesive is not good, tried to install in my car and it would not stick. I just bought my own double sided tape and used the screws it came it. Works great.

    I was looking for a better solution to hide my gun and came across this gun magnet. There has been several armed home invasions in my neighborhood so hiding my gun in a gun safe was not ideal. I placed one of the magnets under my night stand drawer making it impossible to find. Now I can easily reach for my gun while in bed. The magnets are strong and have a rubbery layer so that your gun does not scratch. I installed the second one under my desk. These magnets are super awesome and Ideal for any situation. Was thinking another set for my car.

    This magnet is very strong. I mounted it on the inside of my gun cabinet door to hold my subcompact handgun. It weighs a little over a pound when loaded, and it sticks tight. I tried it with my full size 10mm, which weighs over 3 pounds loaded, and it sticks but seems like if it was jarred or the door shut hard it would fall off. I was disappointed with the size of this, it’s about 1.5″ in diameter. From the pics I thought it was maybe twice that size. I think if it was bigger in diameter it would hold heavier guns better. Overall it’s good though.

    After struggling to find ways to hide my firearm, this is the best solution! These magnets are so heavy duty that even though it comes with two, one is strong enough to hold my firearm firmly. I was able to use the magnets in 2 different places. The installation took about 2 minutes. The hardest part was deciding where I wanted to put it. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that has a firearm.

    I was impressed with these magnets right out of the box. From the packaging to the quality, these are well worth it. The convenience of these to put just about anywhere is so awesome. I had a little issue with UPS getting around to delivering them, but GMW claims “Backed by the Most Awesome Customer Service Team on the Market” and I can not disagree. They replied to my emails within hours (not days) and the delivery delay wasn’t their fault. They also claim “Fairly Priced and Built with Premium Materials” again I cant disagree. One of these magnets holds my loaded Sig P320 firmly in place and sliding the gun off of it hasn’t marked the finish at all. The adhesive isn’t very strong but with the pull that you need to separate from the magnet, no adhesive would work. The adhesive backing does make drilling and installation of the screws (2 sets, 3/4″ & 1″) much easier.
    I’ll definitely be ordering again in the future.
