    Works as advertised. For the new Walther PPQ line, the slide is not completely flat so I had to use 2 magnets to make sure just the gun was secure. If the slide was flat, one magnet would have no problem holding a gun.

    Jon at GMW quickly followed up with me on a very small issue I had. Seems like the customer service at this company is also second to none.

    Would highly recommend.

    These things are wicked strong but only about the size of two quarters stacked.
    Installed and placed my double stack Glock 45, probably the heaviest pistol I own, drove on the bumpiest road I could find,I took a picture at the start of the ride and then 10 miles later, my body and vehicle neededa rest the road was so bumpy (mountain roads). Although the pistol moved, it only moved a little bit, still very easy to grab so the actual movement was not an issue at all.
    I have learned that when placing the pistol it’s better to go just a bit past center or gravity or just slightly more weight in the actual area of the magnet and it won’t move at all.
    I have one in each of the cars I drive and also one on the back of a nightstand and always looking for an excuse to put one someplace else.
    I would buy more witgoutyany hesitation and show everyone I know.

    I don’t understand some reviews about these magnets being hard to install,weak,adhesive backing not sticky? I installed mine under a shelf in a small bathroom cabinet literally in 5min most of that getting my cordless drill out. I wiped the underside of the shelf removed the tape backing stuck it to the spot marked and by the way make sure you pre mark the placement as the tape is very sticky,placed the screw in the hole gave it 2 taps with the hammer to set it and drove it home with the drill driver it took longer to write this than the installation. I now have a Ruger SR9 fully loaded hanging from it without a problem. I’m going to replace another magnet I bought from a gun show for $30 with the other one of the set as the $30 magnet is so strong it’s nearly impossible to retrieve the gun I’ll reuse it for a Ithaca riot gun I keep in a closet it’s possible to have to strong a magnet as I found out. This is a great item at a very cheap price

    I like these magnets, the rubber coating is easy on firearms. The adhesive backing seems pretty aggressive but I still used the screws. I’m using two to hold up a full framed pistol with full magazine and feels like I need a third magnet. Hasn’t dropped off but it’s super easy to pull off.

    I am trying to think of how this product could be improved and the only thing I can think of is maybe if they had included a variety of screws, instead of just 8 of the same screw.. so, maybe longer and shorter? Maybe a self-tapping metal screw? That is about it.

    I do like the coating on these, it is tough enough to stand up to everyday use, but not so tough that it will harm your gun’s finish. Just right.

    It also comes with a 3 year warranty.. which is nice.
